Our ARM Enterprise bare metal servers with AmpereOne® offer outstanding computing power and maximum energy efficiency. Thanks to ARM64 technology, they are particularly suitable for big data and cloud-native scenarios and deliver maximum output at minimum cost per CPU core. With DDR5 memory and NVMe SSDs, our ARM rental servers also offer maximum I/O performance and scalability!
The areas of application for this server line are diverse, but Ampere servers are particularly well suited for Kubernetes clusters, microservices, and scale-out applications due to their high scalability and excellent price-per-CPU-core ratio.

ARM Enterprise Dedicated Servers feature the latest Ampere core architecture. This is not a standard ARM design, but rather an ARM-compatible architecture developed by AmpereOne® itself. The advantage of this is full control over energy consumption, performance, and optimization for cloud workloads. AmpereOne® offers up to 192 CPU cores per CPU, ARMv8 technology, and support for DDR5 memory. The CPU cores are “real” ARM64 cores that do not use simultaneous multithreading (SMT) and therefore do not pose side-channel risks such as Spectre/Meltdown.
Distributions that already provide ARM64 support will not encounter any compatibility issues when using AmpereOne® servers. Container systems such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CRI-O are fully supported, as are common cloud-native tools such as NGNIX, MariaDB, Redis, and Node.js. AmpereOne® thus rounds off its cloud-first design with the latest Ampere CPU generation, and with maximum energy efficiency!
The carbon footprint of the Internet with its servers and data centers is growing incessantly. However, in addition to using energy-efficient hardware, we can also actively support nature: With every new rating - whether positive or negative - we therefore have 2 new trees planted.
All ARM Enterprise rental servers with AmpereOne® are operated exclusively in certified data centers in Frankfurt am Main. You benefit from Europe's largest Internet hub, which is crucial for our server operations.
When you rent an ARM64 server from IP-Projects, you will receive only brand-new hardware. The provisioning time can therefore take up to 3 weeks. You can check the actual provisioning time with our support team before ordering a system.
Ampere servers can be managed quickly and easily using our proprietary server management system. A special feature of this system is IPMI access secured by a KVMM proxy. This eliminates the need for an additional VPN connection.
We offer free basic DDoS protection for all Ampere bare metal servers! If required, this can be equipped with individual mitigation filters for a small monthly surcharge.
For our Ampere server offerings, we exclusively use hardware that is certified for continuous operation. This allows us to reduce disruptions and also ensure the longevity of individual server components over several years.
Each of our data center locations has a green electricity certificate. This guarantees that the electricity is generated from renewable sources, such as hydro or wind power.
Good routing with a fault-tolerant network is the key to successful server operation. Thanks to maintenance-tolerant network design and sufficient backbone capacity, we guarantee the continuous use of the network bandwidth provided.
During the ordering process, we offer a wide range of expansion options for our ARM64 server products. These expansions are available to you at any time throughout the entire term of the server. However, replacement of the CPU is not possible.
On our ARM64 dedicated servers, the operating system installation is flexible via IPMI – you can integrate an ISO image via a provided Samba share and install your desired Linux system. We already provide a selection of popular distributions as ISO files. If you cannot find a specific operating system, please contact us – we will check whether we can add your desired ISO!
One of our cages for business dedicated servers at the FRA1 NTT site. Cold air flows out of the openings in the floor and cools the hardware installed in the racks on the left and right side.
We rely on standardized rack housings for our servers in order to keep any problems with spare parts procurement to a minimum.
Rear cabling of some of our Business Dedicated Servers at the FRA1 NTT site. In this case, most of the systems are equipped with 10G uplinks in addition to IPMI and 1G copper.
For our business servers we only use rack hardware with redundant power supplies. In case of problems we can exchange PSUs and HDDs without downtime by means of hot-swap.
Redundant core switch stacks for 10 Gigabit/s direct cabling - 80 Gigabit/s connection to routing stack - FRA1 location
128-port 100 Gigabit/s QSFP28 core switch stack for direct cabling with 100 Gigabit/s, e.g. used in HPC clusters – FRA1 location
Redundant routing stack consisting of technically different routers that are almost identical in terms of performance characteristics - Location FRA1
Server rack 0.8 x 1.2 meters with redundant top-of-rack switch stack and redundant 2-feed power supply - location FRA1

The administration of our servers is done via our self-developed server administration. Installation, reboots, monitoring, IP management and traffic analysis become a breeze.
Our co-user administration also allows your colleagues quick access to all servers. The shared servers and permissions can be set separately for each co-user.'
For installation we offer all common operating systems. Either as automatic installation, or manual installation with SSH/VNC access. If we don't have your desired operating system in our offer, you can use our ISO installer, or contact our support to extend our automatic installations.
In case of problems or misconfigurations, you can temporarily start a non-invasive rescue system. This resides exclusively in memory and allows SSH access to your server and the data on it.
For our servers we rely on hardware with IPMI support. IPMI can also be queried directly in our server administration. So you have all important system parameters of your server always available. Even reboots are possible without any problems in case of emergency.
You also have full visibility at the network level. We provide a detailed overview of your server system's traffic usage. Grouping multiple servers into a collective traffic pool - for example, for analysis purposes - is also possible.
AmpereOne Dedicated Servers are based on the latest ARM64 server architecture from Ampere Computing. They offer up to 192 physical cores, high energy efficiency, and outstanding performance for cloud-native and scalable workloads.
The main difference between classic x86 and Ampere/ARM servers lies in the instruction set used. In addition to the different technology itself, customers who rent an ARM server benefit particularly from the following factors:
ARM servers are ideal for the following workloads:
All common Linux distributions support ARM technology. Windows Server supports ARM64 architectures from version 2025 onwards.
Most open source and cloud tools fully support ARM64. Closed source software (e.g., some backup or licensing tools) may require verification.
Yes – ARM64-based virtual machines and microVMs can be run using KVM, QEMU, or Firecracker. The platform is ideal for multi-tenancy and isolated environments.
Yes – our Ampere rental servers also have redundant power supplies, which are supplied via two different UPS-supported power feeds.
Yes, AmpereOne server motherboards have an IPMI interface that enables administration down to the BIOS level. This is also protected by KVMM Proxy and therefore does not require additional VPN access.
Yes – we are not bound by static website offers. We can also calculate individual AmpereOne server offers and adapt them to customer requirements. One possible adaptation could be the addition of graphics cards, for example. Please contact our sales department for more information.
We also offer a comprehensive managed service for our Ampere dedicated servers. In addition to server management, this includes 24/7/365 monitoring and a sophisticated backup concept.
